Elite Winter Boost is the ultimate combination of N to get your grass growing in those cooler shoulder months. Elite Winter Boost includes 33% N made up of three different forms - Ammonium-Nitrogen, Nitrate-Nitrogen and Organic Nitrogen. Each of these, when dissolved and applied to the leaf, are taken up by the plant in different cycles. Ammonium Nitrate will be processed and used by the plant in a shorter period of time as there are fewer conversions required for the plant to turn it into usable protein from which it can then grow. The Nitrogen Nitrate takes longer for the plant to process meaning that when the Ammonium Nitrate is processed the Nitrogen Nitrate kicks in creating a longer growth cycle and growing more grass.
The addition of Sulphur (2.3%) also helps in those cooler temperatures to stabilise the plant keeping it lush and green and palatable to stock.
